Brand new Axel Void print was made during Missiontoart residency in the Sericraft studio in Torino, Italy after Streetalps festival. Axel Void and our staff worked together in an experimental way to try and translate to paper the traditional pictorial image of his original “1944” painting…The goal was to obtain a closer approach to the visceral oil paintings using the screen-printing technique. The Spanish artist also hand-painted “1944” with extra details making each print unique.
“1944” is an edition of 35, it measures 50 x 70cm and is a 5 layer hand-pulled screen-print on Hahnemühle 350g/mq paper. It has been hand-painted with extra details and signed and numbered by the talented artist. “1944” will be exclusively available in Streetartnews store on Wednesday, May 7th at 4PM UK for £120 each!
