Mission to art continues to open its drawers presenting this time a series of serigraphs realized as a result of the artist residence in Turin together with Bicicleta sem freio.
The Brasilian collective, composed by Douglas de Castro and Renato Perreira, now become famous worldwide thanks to their unique style and unmistakable pop-psychedelic trait that refers to their cultural roots both in music and for the pop iconography of the 80s, they have made several limited edition prints in collaboration with Street Art News and Sericraft serigraphy in Turin.
The first series produces back to October 2014 was titled “Providence”, an edition of 35. It measures 50 x 70cm and it’s a eight-layer hand pulled screen print on Hahnemuhle 350gsm paper. The print comes signed and numbered by Bicicleta Sem Freio.
On June 2015, “Hammer Time ” an edition of 40, eight-layer screenprint on Hanhnemuhle 350gr paper, it measures 50 x 70 cm was produced to support PangeaSeed festival. In fact, all the proceeds raised from purchases of this print went directly towards supporting PangeaSeed’s efforts to help save sharks and other marine species in peril.
Back to December 2015, it was realized “Red”, an exquisite limited edition screen-print of 35, twelve-layer screenprint on Hanhnemuhle 300gr paper, it measures 50 x 60 cm and comes signed and numbered by the Brazilian duo.
